Konkan Corridor gains momentum ....

1.For each Taluka , the resource person is identified and have been briefed about the tasks ahead ...
2. Every Cluster will have a resource center with person, place , telephone and preferably a computer ...
3. The resource person at cluster would be mentored to be an entrepreneur in order to stand on own strengths...
4. The resource person will identify the local partners for various projects and connect them to various supporters willing to associate / partner with them ...
5. Focus will be on use of high technology and skill learning
6. Mr.Jambhekar from Pune who has educational institution at Pune has agreed to set up vocational skills development programs at each cluster in partnership with local persons and also connect with Konkan Cub to enroll local partners as member entreprenuers
7. Mr. Rahat Yousoufi who is stationed at Lanja and has been studying the life and issues in Rural Konkan is ready to support the media policy for Konkan corridor poroject and also train some youth to make professional documentaries to network the community around development issues . A studio will be set up at Lanja .
8. Manoj Acharya who has created Leadership India Network (LIN) with 27000 members world wide has offered to take the cluster based development as model for change and apply it as program for the LIN . He has also agreed to partner with S&T Park as incuabtee and develop a Knowledge Server as backbone to support any activities / projects at cluster level . GIS tool developed by S&T Park for development admin will be integrated in such server
9. Lanja area has identified 6 clusters at Kharadi, Ringane, Korle, Sapuche Tale, Dewadhe, Khelvase
10 Matrumandir Devrukh is developing 9 clusters in the surroundings of Devrukh
11 Dr. Mahendra Mohan ( 9423804927 ) who runs a school near Rajapur has agreed to partner with Mr. Jambhekars vocational training program in the cluster
12. Radio stations will be planned in each cluster at educational institutes
13. Mrs. Masurekar of MAVIM ( 9423881412 ) is looking forward to self employment programs for women who may get the financial support , and would be contacted for various projects which can be implemented by women in cluster
14. Shekhar Kulkarni has communicated that Mr. Jain, an IITan who is at senior level in Panchayat Raj eGovernance program is interested to knowhow the Rs. 7,000 Crores investment being planned by GOI for eGovernance will be useful in such development project as KCP

More systematic communication will occur when we set up the web based network for all KCP
